Found this in the "everything for €5" bin at the local analog camera store a couple weeks ago.
I just went and looked it up and apparently this thing was made between 1934 and 1942. What the heck, it's at least 80 years old!!
There's not really any dates or production codes on it, other than a "28" on the back of the ratcheting clamp & a couple "made in Germany" markings. No "West Germany" / BDR / DDR markings, so I guess that may show the age.
It looks brand new, still works perfectly fine and only has one or two light scratches on it. I thought it'd be from the 60s at most.
It's especially cool as it allows you to take long exposures (up to 10 seconds), unlike a lot of other self timers. It took a while to figure out how it worked, but I can confirm it still works flawlessly & also still seems to be accurate. Neat!
