but a simple one: if we want the swiftest route towards un-screwing-up our knowledge of computer programming, we should return to the first language we were ever comfortable with, and that's Pascal. which is a jolly good language and I don't know why it fell out of favor so badly—perhaps some computer nerds can tell me why Pascal's no good. or alternatively, tell me what good implementations are out there. Borland Pascal used to be an old friend.
traumatic noise afflicts our ability to program, and I feel like returning to high school (metaphorically) might help with that.
