Telescope Building with John Dobson
this is like a full hour of hand grinding a telescope mirror. if you're a medium to huge nerd you'll like it
if you've ever heard of or seen a Dobsonian Telescope, well, this is why it's called that.
also I think Dobson invented one of the cleverest designs for a solar telescope, one that uses an unsilvered primary mirror and other reflections off unsilvered surfaces to achieve massive attenuation of the light.
btw it's always bugged me that "Dobson" is also the name of a fashy Christian creep from Colorado Springs.
