This was a favorite from PBS reruns—"The Good Life", alias "Good Neighbors", an idealistic 1970s BBC sitcom about a suburban couple who convert their homestead into a miniature farm and attempt a life of "self-sufficiency". Probably it's actually an unrealistic premise and if I went looking I'd find a dozen articles about how it can't be done; to be fair, the show does tackle some practical issues with the Goods' plans (like the fact that they were planning on selling some of their produce commercially, but nobody's interested in dealing in tiny quantities from an individual.) ~Χαρά
