Super Smash Bros Melee is not an easy game. It does, however, give you a lot of things to practice, which is cool to me. I played someone on Friday who told me I was bascially being really predictable by dash dancing at a specific range and soon going in, when I should be either faking and retreating or overshooting to catch them. On top of that there's so many ways to clean up movement (wavelanding is make-or-break for Ganon), crouch canceling, tech chasing, etc.
I'm still eyeing other characters, including Capfain Falcon (like most other Ganon mains lol) but yeah way too early to call things. Fun game. Having a real training mode via UnclePunch is incredible.
I played an hour of netplay with someone and it was mostly Ganon vs Yoshi. Crouch canceling in a heavy matchup goes crazy. I also was not ready to get low profiled by Yoshi occasionally.
