quotev rp culture like late 2010s and into the now before quotev k!lled itself was so brutal tbh
there is a reason i and so many others practically stopped rping on quotev all together, people were kinda aggressive about meeting this exact amount and would be like we need a schedule for replies and i'm like
isn't this a hobby not a job. . . .call me a bad roleplayer but i was the person to drop shit when i stopped being fixated and i wouldn't say a word if this person and i didn't form a real friendship
i get its a shitty thing to do, but ultimately this is just something you do to have fun, and with how much roleplaying on quotev literally sucked the life out of me because i was stressed up having both segments of my replies line up perfectly, especially if it was a fandom i wasn't used to writing for just yet, i would literally put off replying for the longest time because i dreaded it and saw it more as a chore to get done for the reward of seeing the other person's response and even then i just didn't enjoy it that much because it felt like a job back and forth bc you'd get hassled for replies and you'd constantly have to explain yourself when you don't and you've got like x amount of days reminders and its like PEOPLE HAVE LIVES. . . . . .
