the thing i'm most curious about with puzzmo is how people feel about Really Bad Chess. because i hate it. i'll admit i'm not an avid chess player, but i mostly just find it frustrating. it's the odd one out on the site next to all the word puzzles (and flipart, but flipart's really simple) and it's the only one i usually just skip every day

i also hate it. i keep trying it once i’ve finished the other puzzles out of some drive to keep the game going, but every time i just end up feeling irritated. that said, i also hate regular chess so i probably shouldn’t have expected this to be different

Bad at/bored by regular chess, liked Really Bad Chess as an app (where the strength of your pieces vs. the computer's is based on your skill level) and got maybe kinda goodish at it before losing interest years ago, was partly drawn to puzzmo because of RBC, got my key from RBC, hoped that puzzmo would mostly offer games similar to RBC, was kinda underwhelmed by its offerings/implementations of them, the exclusivity meant I couldn't really talk about doing the dailies with my friends since none had keys yet, after a few days pretty much lost interest in RBC and everything else except the crosswords' clever clues. :/

Was just playing puzzmo today and I literally put it down after solving the crossword because I tried Really Bad Chess and got frustrated with it. Relative to other games it just feels so deeply niche and impenetrable to me. I understand that it's bad for me that the AI has four bishops at the front but not how I would go about playing around it
