cohost is better than twitter because here everyone was just like "yeah that is a clunky headline about dungeon meshi lol" but on twitter it left its target audience and i got chided by a bunch of randos who were like "actually calling dungeon meshi 'baldur's gate meets ____' in a headline is good because the author likes baldur's gate" or "um not everyone knows what dungeon meshi is so actually this clunky headline saying it's just two popular things western audiences are currently familar with mashed together without actually naming the show is helpful" and also people calling me insane for thinking that people clicking anime articles on polygon would know of studio trigger
oh i'm realizing this happened because multiple writers quote retweeted to chastise me for saying the headline sucked. i muted the thread long before this happened but these literally showed up in my recommendations. fun
