I think I've had the opposite intended result after reading your hazbin review? it got me curious enough to actually check it out and by about halfway through I've started getting the creeping feeling of "just about all of ponett's critiques are on the money, but for some reason this is just hitting for me". it's like a bowl of dog food pellets that my inner anime fangirl is fuckin feasting on. so uh, thanks(?) for the review
i think it's like the gene that determines whether or not cilantro tastes like soap to you. if you vibe with the characters going in it's theoretically possible to have a good time. if you don't (like i didn't, aside from sympathizing with angel dust in his spotlight eps) then there's just nothing there for you
