the way a close friend group's shorthand for certain things evolves when playing multiplayer games together is really something, especially when a crude joke worms its way into your callouts and just won't go away. this chapter in fortnite they introduced a healing item called the flowberry fizz, which is basically just a champagne bottle you shake up and spray on yourself and your teammates to gain shield. over time our name for this item has been twisted from the flowberry fizz to the fuckberry fizz to the fuckberry jizz to, finally, just "the jizzum" for short. absolutely terrible

in reply to @ponett's post:

back when Apex Legends was the only game with the accessibility option of visual cues for audio, it was so novel and we had never seen it before... anyways because of the little footsteps icon the callout went from "I hear someone" to, eventually, "feet on me"
it's no jizzums but I still get looks sometimes LOL

it's funny you say this because we've used visual audio indicators in fortnite for over a year and only recently did our "footsteps" callouts begin to morph into "feet" or "feet spotted"
