someday I'll blow some kid's mind telling them I played minecraft when it was in alpha in july 2009. there was no content. there were mines but no crafting. there were skeletons, creepers, and pigs. I don't think there were even spiders. I'm basically a hundred years old

you had skeletons? i played one where the map was 64x64 and the only thing you could spawn were clones of the player character
I "played" it at around this era and was entirely baffled. what is this. there's no game here. there's no interface here. help
