Sorry if I've said this on here before but I can't think of a worse format to cram into vertical video than a panel show. It's literally designed to be horizontal. The sets are big wide desks and long rows of chairs. Watching a cropped vertical video of a panel show always feels so wrong because you're watching an uncomfortably zoomed-in clip of one comedians face while you can just see a sliver of shoulder on either side. It's almost like this was specifically not how we were meant to look at it

Solution: all the comedians should be stacked up on each others shoulders.
this gives me an idea for a better, taller version of hollywood squares. for the smartphone generation
