great ep! pre-spoilers I want to say that, for the past few years of taskmaster, I've seen tons of people online saying they wanted lucy beaumont on the show. all of those people were right. absolutely exquisite television. definitely going down in history as one of the all time greatest contestants. anyway spoilers below
several moments this week that made me hork up a lung including
- "hope you like anthrax!"
- lucy hesitating to say what her prize was and then revealing one of the most deranged things I've ever seen
- lucy fully misunderstanding the balloon task
- lucy fully misunderstanding the gang task
- lucy fully misunderstanding how pouring liquids works
- sue trying to use adventure game logic by tossing a match into a bowl of water on the off chance that it would accomplish something
my scores for the week:
julian: 15
lucy: 7
sam: 15 (+1)
sue: 10 (-2)
susan: 14 (+1)
not much room for stuff to change besides the prize task and the gang task. somehow my cumulative scores are almost identical to the actual scores except I've got sue at a whopping 14 point deficit. I feel like her prizes have always been so so so shit but she gets pretty decent points from greg. fair enough!
really close series between sam and julian. I think sam has the edge generally but julian is a lot more consistent in prize tasks... we'll see
