I mean absolutely no offense to anyone getting emotional about twitter possibly dying because you know, everyone's history with it is different etc. etc. it's just a weird funny feeling to me like... if tumblr died I might have an emotional reflective moment about it and how much it impacted me. if discord shut down I think I might genuinely lose contact with a ton of really cool people who I wouldn't otherwise know how to find. but losing twitter to me is just like. ah man. I've seen some good posts on there. oh well! I just don't think I have any emotional connection to the platform whatsoever. it's always felt like such a detached way of interacting with people I can't really imagine having any meaningful memories of my time on there. again: oh well!

Yeah, I get that, but as I've said on the site itself, twitter played a major positive part in my life, in that it was what got me into the running punks community and got me enjoying running. It's easy to say that was the community, not the website, but I would not have found that community if it wasn't for the specific way I used twitter.
