after suspending numerous journalists for tweeting about ElonJet, linking to ElonJet on mastodon, mentioning mastodon, or thinking about elon musk, elon made an extremely unbiased poll: "Unsuspend accounts who doxxed my exact location in real-time" with the options now / tomorrow / 7 days from now / longer
he set the extremely unbiased poll for one hour so it would mainly receive votes from people who already follow him, but "now" beat "longer" by about 5%. instead of posting
The people have spoken.
The journalists will be unsuspended.

he followed up with another poll, same unbiased prompt, but the options are just now / in 7 days ("now" is currently winning, if you still have a twitter account I encourage you to vote in his stupid fucking poll for what little it's worth)
anyway, somewhere in the middle of all this, someone discovered that it's possible for suspended accounts to join and speak in twitter spaces. buzzfeed reporter katie notopolous created a space and invited a bunch of the suspended journalists (as well as the ElonJet account) in where they were able to discuss the suspensions... until elon showed up, answered one question, left, and then shut the space down. some people are saying they're currently unable to create a twitter space at all which, if true, implies that he shut the space down by shutting down the entirety of twitter spaces. the space's recording is also inaccessible and previous tweets with spaces embeds currently just show a big box with "Details not available" so, seems pretty likely that's what happened
elon has been trying to become the new trump for a while now and he's finally achieved new levels of thin skinned. truly incredible stuff
