Wanikani is the single best resource I've found for learning kanji and Japanese vocabulary, and it's running its once-a-year sale. They have a lifetime purchase option as an alternative to subscriptions, and during the sale it's $100 off - USD$199 instead of $299. Good chance to save if you've been meaning to brush up on your kanji or vocab.

every year I tell myself I'm gonna finally upgrade from free to lifetime and dust off my vocab but this year I actually did it

[sigh] only a backlog of 265 reviews to clear out

I love wanikani and can't recommend it enough! I started in january this year and blasted through to level 34 before getting burnt out but I've been grinding my 750 item review mountain down (currently at 333)

LEVEL 60 BY THIS TIME NEXT YEAR LFG

(I will also give a shoutout to bunpro, a really excellent grammar resource, and satori reader, which has audio stories that are great for listening practice. I haven't fully dug into them yet since I decided to focus on kanji first but those sites are both really good if you're looking to learn japanese)
