haven't listened to a fall out boy album since folie a deux. let's see if they remembered how to be any good
a return to form, ish. it's pretty good. patrick stump has described this album as imagining a follow-up to folie a deux if they hadn't gone on hiatus for five years. I would say that feels pretty accurate, and if this album had come out in 2010 I'd have said "well, folie a deux is a tough one to follow!" it feels like a decent bridge between classic fall out boy and modern fall out boy. I didn't love it, but I liked it
