The Identity Theory of Autism: Values are not opinions to Autistics. We are our values.

For most people, identity is where a person is in relation to their social intersections; however, I counter that autistic people’s identities are contrived by where they are according to the intersections of their values and passions.

Interesting piece about differences in identity construction between autistic and allistic people. There's definitely a lot in here that makes sense out of tensions I'd experienced in my personal and professional life. I could probably make some criticisms if I wasn't so tired, but also maybe I'll leave that to others. In any case: much to think about.
