We've retasked an SM-128 STARSHROOM and can get three transits by morning, but nothing for three hours.

It took half our reserve propellant; previously it was keeping an eye on the evolving proxy situation with super-mario-world countries in the Donut Hills region. In the mean time, even though he's barely slept, we're sortieing Captain Toad. The other two Project FLIGHTCAP-capable alternates touched fire flowers and the third no longer fits his suit. We need photographic confirmation or we're fighting blind.

No, we cannot "simply" send an RU-64 Lakitu this time. Not after that shoot-down over Yoshi's Island. They've learned how to track them, even with the cloud cover.

I need you to listen carefully: the next seventy-two hours will define the remainder of your term. For better or for worse.

This is how history is made. Get some rest.

As you can see, there are at least eighteen transporter-erector-launchers -- we call them TELs -- barely concealed by the trees, and at least four camouflaged brown-block garage bunkers. Each one of these will deploy into 7 individually-targeted BLUE-COIN type power star devices. A single one getting through would be able to wipe Greater New Donk City off the map.

Now, we don't know if they don't know if we don't know they're there, which means the element of surprise is in our hands. However, they have made no attempt to use them, and if they planned a first strike, it's likely they would have been preparing by now. I'm not sure that's a bet we can count on. We'll have the film return canisters from two STARSHROOM passes by 1100h, but by then it may be too late.

The fate of Mario World rests in your hands, Madame Princess. May Horkus Porkus save our souls.
