I got a little USB-C to HDMI adapter thing for my phone, but the HDMI doesn't actually work on my phone. It does work on my laptop, but not on either of my phones (the new one with a working screen, or the old one with a broken screen). I'm not even prompted to do anything that would enable the display. idk, kind of a disappointment
[edit] apparently neither model of phone supports this. FUCK I WASTED $20 dollars, why did I not verify this first (the answer was I was freaking out about recovering data from that phone)
