Hang on, I saw something about the Global Feed tags being removed because people were getting harassed by having their replies to their posts added to it... I thought that wasn't possible?

there was a recent post by a staff member that the reason they had to do the eng work to prevent that harassment was the global feed tags, so maybe that was what was being referred to?
like, at some point in the past, it was possible to share a post to a tag by replying with that tag. and then people abused that specifically using the global feed, which led to the staff implementing the current system.
Yeah I thought they built it in a long time ago to prevent that scenario
same here! apparently not. I mean still a long time ago but not as long as the global feed, I guess.
