  2. yo hold up these aerial shots circa 1:00 are incredible. i'm trying to picture the stabilization rig they had to have on the nose of an aircraft to make these look so good.

RE 2: I can't find any vintage photos, but I remember seeing gyrostabilized gimbal cameras mounted on helicopters in those Behind The Scenes / Movie Magic type shows in the 90s, it's very likely one of those. Just like big honking ball hanging off the front of a Jetranger. Searching "nose gyro camera gimbal helicopter" on google images gives something similar looking but more modern.
