void linux!! it just works, never broke on me, and it’s not systemd. plus a few other things i am not going to list because i woke up 15 minutes ago
debian if you want something that "works", but if you wanna try somthieng a little more hands-on and something you can learn a lot with i would highly recommend alpine linux. their documentation is outstanding
Seconding this. Alpine Linux is a bit more setup, but you'll also learn more about how your system actually functions. And Debian is a great "it just works" distro.
