so i bought a cardputer, mostly to try and make my own form of input device for a smartphone, that being a portable chicklet keyboard and "mouse" (through whatever way i could possibly do this shit) and, on their default little keyboard application, i noticed they had an issue!

if you tried to type certain keys (shift+/=? and shift+-=_) it would just not do that and ignore your input. i wanted to fix this, and it turns out, you can just download the source code and reflash it yourself, so i looked in there and it looked like they used 2 different keys for those specific keys, so i changed that, and now it works like i feel it's supposed to!!!! i have no idea why someone would want specifically a keypad minus and a minus, maybe someone out there needs a keypad minus, but i feel like that's gonna be their problem. idk how to commit this or anything, so it's probably just gonna be a my machine thing until i figure out how git works, but i am incredibly proud of myself for finding out how that works. just a very weird thing. i finally have a little thing i can fuck with and do weird little things with.
