i think it's legit but someone used an AI upscaler. if you google "trabant bike" one of the posts is the same image but flipped, from 2 years ago.
That'll teach me to do due diligence before sharing but yeah, I think it was "just upscaled" rather than "fully generated" which is... eh, same bucket, different slices.
The manual censoring on the car tags, for instance, etc.
yeah the spokes and some of the lights looked weird, but there's no way an AI model could make a Wartburg or a trabant bike, in a million years. I guess the upscaling kept the car tags in place.
i thought it was taken with a new phone, phone cameras now do ai shit to photos automatically, it's so depressing
