Oh, literally that, so I apologize if the clarification doesn't sound clearer: I mean whether a user could input some text on a keyboard, where reading from stdin would react as if it tried to open a directory. A program should already be past that point by the time it has grabbed the file handle, as opposed to manually inputting a (small) PDF file or whatever.
