i just took my CRT out of storage (from sitting behind me to on my desk) and upon turning it back on and connecting it back to my computer, it's made me appreciate 4:3 again. like, it's great for both tall video (mobile) and wide video (who actually cares about letterboxing, i would prefer letterbox to pillarboxing), AND it has room for captions in full-screen video,,, so why are there no more 4:3 monitors?? the next monitor i buy might be like, 3:2 or something (if i can ever find one)
also the refresh rate on this is faster than my main monitor ;w; so everything is buttery smooth. Quake was really fun and spooky on this. im gonna feel bad putting this back... in a couple days...
