They just kinda...want them there. The nostrils are even on their 70s cars, and they're just as ugly there. You'd think the badge would be enough to say it's a bimmer, but their marketers disagree.
Cool cars, but do they spontaneously catch fire and explode and have a drive mode called "super zoOoOoOOM mega awesomesauce"? I think not.
combo of factors: wealth is shifting to younger, more assertive, less "class-motivated" money - in other words, fuck you money, with fuck you styling. also, dickheads love BMWs, and that M4 CSL is perfect for those kinds of people lmao
