I'm kind of like Mob from Mob Psycho if the unlimited power hidden inside was being a girl

can't focus on listening to PALISADE at work so instead I'm reading Armour Astir when I have downtime. god I love cool game mechanics. I wish my friends had any interest in playing anything but "The World's Greatest Roleplaying Game."

I've tried to gm a few times, but it always falls apart. partially because I get depressed for weeks/months and don't have any energy to create on that scale. also there's 8 of us, which is too difficult to run as a full crew and I can't split them up either because most people are pretty inconsistent with their availability.

Yeah I feel this. I put a lot of work into a Beam Saber game, I even made my own map and factions based on a Lancer game we had before, but when it came time to actually play I felt like I was spending more energy trying to sell them on the system than actually playing the game, and about half the table didn't even really like or get it... Eventually I just gave up and we went back to dnd again :/

it's so frustrating! my group plays very social roleplay campaigns where we do 1 fight like every 5 sessions so we're like barely even playing dnd. there are so many games out there that would better fit our play style, but I guess I'm just the ttrpg nerd of the group :/
