I figured this would be a good and fine way to start introducing some of my original characters here! Plus, since this place allows me to write a lot more, it doesn't have to be stunted descriptions like on Twitter or a pain to write like on notepad.com.

Template by @mcaprilioneart made for fanart, but I just repurposed it for my own OCs :3.

So first off come the Aries sun sign characters. I am going to list one overlapping Sun Sign trait with the corresponding OC, then actually go into detail of each OC. Feel free to ask questions in the comments too!

1. Passionate

Even the little things, it's easy to become passionate about it. Likes become loves. Annoyances lead to rages. Agreements are bloodpacts.

Not everyone is going to be able to keep up with this enthusiasm.

  • Seishi:
Originally, she was a "fancharacter" of one of my other OCs in a "this would never happen, but what IF!!!" scenario.

Seishi is born on the cusp of Pisces-Aries, but moreso on the Aries side! With probably a Scorpio Rising. A lot of her personality is straightforward in this incarnation as "Seishi", but as her middle name implies, she has a very complicated and rebellious past as "Lilithe", who wasn't happy with the role she was serving, and her continuous insubordination leading to her exile.

In spite of this exile, she continued to try to mete out her version of justice through killing Eve's descendants, often getting herself killed or put back into a dormant state in the process. With no proper access to reincarnation, she is driven to "body hop" into other females to continue her mission, often going through women who are on the verge of suicide. Her most recent incarnation though, is through an infant who grows up as Seishi.

Being raised from an infant without the emotional baggage and experience of a more mature being meant that Seishi is relatively naive, forthright, and openhearted in comparison, but deep inside, her karmic destiny waits to drive her to accomplish much more.

2. Fickle

Despite those bright fires of passion, it doesn't burn long before jumping its attentions elsewhere. A fire starter, but not usually a fire finisher.

Finding a way to refocus attention to where it matters or at least in the vicinity would help with reaching goals.

  • Felicia:
Originally she was just Kat Munroe from the StarFox franchise who I headcanoned way too hard with so that nothing even matched up to her character, so I finally had to make her "original" instead lol.

Now she is a soldier who was experimented on, so she has formidable hand-to-hand combat and throwing weapons skills, but at the cost of some mental stability. She is zany, high-energy, and often capricious, but overall fairly uncomplicated in her motivations. Her motivations usually centering around whatever captures her attention the most at the moment, and fun challenges to overcome.

She first appears as an antagonist the the freedom fighting "rebels" of the Badlands, but as time goes on, she finds that her attitude aligns much more easily with the rebels than the autocratic commanders bossing her around.

3. Rash

A little rash, a little reckless, a little too little thought before tackling a task or talking out one's tush. It's the need to be seen, heard, and counted proactively in case someone thinks they can speak in their place.

Sometimes claiming a stake before having all the information or logistics lined up leads to losing ground and being labelled as just a boat-rocker and noise-maker.

  • Mahnoku
Back in the day when I was even MORE into astrology than now, my cousin and I created a bunch of "sunchildren" dudes to somewhat represent each sun sign. Thus we have this dude being THE Aries Guy.

He's a bit hot-headed, a bit egotistical, and a bit too loud for a lot of people, but his enthusiasm and intentions are usually pure, if not purely competitive. One area that Mahnoku has a hard time dealing with is being #2 or having to wait for orders, when he has his own ideas about how he wants to be doing things. A lot of those ideas are impulsive though without thinking through the full consequences, even though they may be on the right track.

This often leads to him butting heads with his older brothers, who assume given their age, they they should be in charge. This comes across as completely unfair to him and often triggers him to fight or declare ultimatums and challenges for leadership. Unfortunately for Mahnoku, his inexperience and rashness often leads him to being humbled in the end, where he has to settle back into a subordinate position.. until the next time!

4. Individualistic

Often wild and free-spirited, letting desires and whims fuel their direction. While it's not uncommon to be a mercenary or gun-for-hire, it's also not uncommon to go completely off-script and march to the beat of the drum inside.

Being so untameable can make it hard to be accepted into the flock with all its benefits, but integrity and freedom are on the line.

  • Cherry
Cherry's look was partially inspired by Lenina from that highschool classic, Brave New World! A fairly docile and air-headed character in a highly controlled and artificial world. For some reason, I decided to light all that airiness with a spark and created Cherry, an extremely uninhibited individual who knows only to satisfy her own id, against conventional rules and expectations. She's also got a bit of the Asuka Langley vibe going on with the orange hair, neural implants clips on her head, and fondness for wearing red jackets.

She is a mercenary who is also unpredictable when it comes to whether she may suddenly turn on her client should the conditions be more rewarding otherwise. She pursues objectives and the acquisition of skills at her own leisure, and is not above modifying her own body with implants and enhancements to achieve them. She likes technology, military equipment, and good times.

Cherry is a self-made woman in more ways than one, but also a bit pf a psychopath lol. One of her greatest joys is finding other female rivals and besting and/or bedding them.

5. Ambitious

Challenges are exciting and obstacles are meant to be conquered, right? There's so much one can do and attain with enough willpower and determination! If it means having to take the lead or being the first to take that step, then so be it.

It's inspiring but can also be intimidating or downright savage if the obstacles happen to be other people.

  • Coman
Coman was made to be more of a side background character, as a cousin to another side character, but got more and more fleshed out as time went on, so now here we are! He's actually one of the newer characters I have made compared to the others here!

Coman is someone who likes to be in control. The circumstances of his birth and history are rather tragic, but through conditioning, he grew to be rather cruel and autocratic himself, all in the name of serving his family and creating a grand legacy.

As a Gaian Cambion, the rare offspring between an Incubus and Succubus, he is a creation that is fatal for his parents. He is much stronger than most of his other family members due to this, but also requires much more energy to maintain his form and stability. He takes this as a personal badge of prestige, despite the fact that it often leads to fatal results and madness in the end. That's nothing to worry about if he has the will and ambition to overcome that limit.

He is often seen as arrogant, bossy, micromanaging, and mean by even his friends and family, but he has somewhat of a softer side when it comes to his visions of having a family of his own, often taking long to consider his choices when it comes choosing a compatible wife and raising a family both parents can be present for.

6. Heroic

Courageous and often willing to go to bat for those lacking the same gumption. This earns loyalty and respect from others, even if it means taking the brunt of the consequences and risks. Not that it isn't also exciting to!

Being the hero means fighting villains and making enemies, sometimes out of people who shouldn't be enemies in the first place.

  • Josophia
Josophia's name was based on my fascination with the name of Hagia Sophia, but I added Jo, so I could call her Jo as part of a gender mystery while she wore her helmet as a knight alongside her brother.

Despite her being a character I created a fairly long time ago, I am actually still in the process of figuring out her somewhat nebulous gender. I use she/her pronouns because that's what I "first" decided, but on thinking about it longer, it's still not that well-defined because...

Josophia is a noble and courageous knight who defied the gender roles of her society not just by becoming a knight alongside her brother, but also decided to take on the family role one would expect of an older brother in her society. (What that means, I haven't exactly thought through for their culture, but it probably involves both training her younger brother and various rites of passage for elder brothers). In order to have less friction in their travels as mercenary knights, Josophia hides her body's figure and voice when she can and often has her younger brother, Soleus, playing the public facing role.

She is focused on refining her skill by overcoming new challenges and protecting those weaker than her, but is wary of staying any one place for too long or pledging loyalty to any one person or cause. This often exasperates Soleus, as he yearns to find that cause or person who would give his knighthood more meaning instead of the endless wandering and training Josophia seems so focused on.
