Hiii koisuru scramble kite ft neet vivian a little bit. also airi mention i love airi

Aren't you being too prickly?

The scolding words of her underclassman only fueled Vivian's growing irritation. She knew it was rude of her to sneer at Eiki each time he approached her, offering that familiar kind smile, always asking if he could take a bit of her time for himself. You look lonely, those words chipped away at her nerves each time he asked.

But Vivian never turned him away, only glancing at him before she returned to whatever game she was playing on her phone—of course, he always seemed to know when she was slacking off. He always came to the library, seating himself right next to her. Being ignored by her only served to make him more unbearable, almost childish with how he shoved his way into intruding on her precious time alone. It was times like these that Vivian wished she had Airi along, but of course she was much more responsible than Vivian could ever be.

"How is your project coming along?" Eiki's presence was naturally annoying, Vivian decided. Why was he poking at her business?

"Fine," She hadn't even started, but of course she couldn't force herself to care for the class this project was for. "I don't need help." Vivian knew it was rude, but she didn't bother masking her annoyance. Eiki's gaze lingered on her, she could feel it as he looked over the blank pages in front of her and the unopened books.

Was it really any of his concern if she chose to skip out on her work in favor of the much more appealing game she currently had? If Airi wouldn't huff at her later, Vivian would absolutely tell Eiki every single distasteful thought she had about him.

"It would be a shame if you were held back and I graduated without you," He must have leaned in closer without her noticing, his breath soft over her ear and sending shivers down her spine. Vivian flinched away, her phone nearly slipping out of her hands. "I wouldn't get to see your cute face as often."

She wanted to kill him, Vivian was certain. The warmth in her face wasn't from her blushing, it had to be out of rage. Right? She wouldn't get flustered over something like this—she'd much rather die.

"Be a good boy and start on your research, okay?" Eiki's fingers were cool, touches light against her skin as he brushed a strand of hair behind her ear. "It's due tomorrow, but I don't want you skipping out on your sleep. I'll request an extension for you."

I can handle it just fine, thanks. Vivian grit her teeth, glaring down at her phone. Had she accidentally shut it off? Her grip on it had tightened, pressing her fingers into the plastic of her case. She was going to finish her project tonight, thoroughly and putting her entire heart in it. Vivian didn't need Eiki's useless advice, or his useless help. She turned her head, venomous words on the tip of her tongue, but Eiki had already left, and the scent of his perfume lingered around her.

"See you tomorrow." She felt awfully lonely, talking to nothing. Perhaps she should head home too—perhaps she could get another ride from Eiki's chauffeur if she managed to catch up to him. Just taking advantage of the chance to not walk home, that was the only reason—she would never put herself through the torture of listening to Eiki's unbearably soft voice otherwise.
