Planescape had a really remarkable fashion sensibility that distinguished it from any other product line in the Dungeons & Dragons canon, before or since. The slightly florid, slightly grubby Battle Of The Five Points stylings, juxtaposed against extravagant decorative blades, spikes, and other metallic accessories, helped make Sigil feel like a place all its own, and not merely someone's pinup-clean idealized view of culturally nebulous pre-gunpowder Europe.
Tony DiTerlizzi did a bunch of MTG cards back from my heyday of playing, including one of my favorite cards ever printed that feels like it absolutely was meant for an un-set and they just said 'eh, fuck it'.
If I can find my copy of this I'm def putting it in a deck and hiding cats.
