I suspect ducks know a lot of things, the real question is what is Gertrude keeping secret from us?
The game footage looks a lot like Adventure for the Atari, which makes even more sense when the title screen for Gertrude includes the name "Robinett" on it.
I’m very concerned with the Why here... Why is Gertrude keeping secrets from us?
so it is lol
we were not entirely certain she's a goose so we went and found the manual, which confirmed it - https://archive.org/details/stx_Learning_Company_Gertrudes_Secrets/page/6/mode/1up
(Gertrude, however, is primarily focused on sharing her love of puzzles, not on stealing things that inconvenience humans)
