watching the playstation show i missed from yesterday and seeing that their big headlining game is An Overwatch but with More Graphics and rolling my eyes into the back of my skull

@prof-badvibes

sony's obsession with putting out remasters of games that are only a few years old where the visual "improvements" are either not noticable to the naked eye or outright worse is proof that capitalism does not reward innovation

the singular PSVR2 game they showed looks kinda cool but i hope they release that PC adapter soon so mine can stop collecting dust for months at a time

new dynasty warriors game????? alright i'll try that series maybe

showing a trailer for A Free Overwatch Based On A Cultural Stalwart Gigabrand in the same presentation as concord is approaching playstation 3 levels of Sony Hubris but by most accounts the marvel overwatch seems to be Bad so go ahead i guess

i'm not sure how i feel about modern capcom games tending to go for really advanced facial capture as a stylistic approach, especially in a game where photorealistic people are walking around with palicos and have really questionable anime-dub-esque voice direction

i kinda fuck with infinity nikki. kinda. like on a conceptual level. the previous trailer had her turn into a giant can they show that again

i like that Asobi likes to dress their little guy up as playstation characters but the fact that the upper brass considers 95% of those characters and the people who made them to be disposable at best it comes off as tone deaf. also apparently the character ones are plot important in this one which is uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
