this dude started out on tiktok and is now making long youtube videos about archaeology. a lot of his content focuses on debunking peseudoarchaeological conspiracy theories, which is entertaining, but i really like the stuff he's done about real archaeology. this video is a deep dive into a controversial archaeological site that possibly pushes back the date for human (or at least hominin) migration to the americas quite significantly, which is super interesting stuff. he goes over the evidence, the counter-arguments, and even points out that this evidence lines up well with indigenous oral histories which indicate that people have been in north america for a lot longer than the typical scientific estimates of 15-20,000 years. the only thing i can't stand is how damn echoey his audio is. get some sound baffling, jeez
