every time I think about releasing a game into early access, I get a bad taste in my mouth. maybe it's because I'm notoriously bad at finishing things, maybe it's because I've seen so much junk funnelled into early access, I dunno

but I'm working on something right now and it's one of those things where I know it'd actually benefit from an early access release because it's something that can be continuously updated, would benefit from player testing, all this sort of stuff, but even then I still get a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach about it. completely irrational, but it's there

but also how do you even promote an indie game without twitter? how do you even build that following in the first place? how do you get eyes on a thing when social media as we currently know it is fucking imploding?

fuckin'... I dunno. this shit is hard
