the thing about this unity shit is that if you charge money for your game, if your game has an actual goddamn price tag on it, you might as well ignore the whole revenue part of the new pricing structure. if you are charging $1 for your game and you pass 200k sales in year one? that's it. you've hit both thresholds
and the install threshold? that shit doesn't reset. you are there now. every time you hit $200k revenue in a year? that's a charge you'll just have to start eating. small studio? this is a very real possibility. established indie? also a real possibility. get a breakout hit? also a real possibility. and with unity's install telemetry basically being a fucking joke, those install numbers are most certainly going to get inflated
