Things I like about my new phone (a pixel 4a)
- actually a reasonable size (I hated how big the 7+ I had was)
- decent low light mode (I can detect friends at previously impossible levels of fidelity)
- built in pedometer (I'm generally curious about my daily step count)
- google assistant is much more reliable than Siri (also being able to get actual responses to vocal commands instead of having to hold down the button is p keen)
- virtual buttons at bottom of screen are a godsend (I hate Apple's one button approach to things)
Things I dislike about my new phone (a pixel 4a)
- FUCK CAMERA HOLES SO MUCH
- WHY CAN'T I HAVE A RECTANGULAR SCREEN WHAT IS THIS ICARLY BULLSHIT
- WHY DO THE VIRTUAL BUTTONS READ LIKE FIFTY INPUTS IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY GRAZE THEM
- for some reason some touch inputs are registering wrong vertical heights by a couple millimetres
