i do have a psp and never touched one of the disks for 10 years or more, but making your psp unable to play those if you already has a collection feels like defeating the purpose of having a collection.
no you don't understand
it can't even emulate them! the rpi basically has no functional psp emulation support! IT CAN NOT PLAY PSP GAMES IN ANY FORM
...
Holy...
i feel naive now because i thought before that was the case when i read it, but i thought i read it wrong and understood it wrong, so i assumed the less awful option.
like, those arbenic and others portables cand already do emulation, so they are using the carcass of the psp?
Like, PSP are already expensive and all.
i don't like to hate watch, but i think i found the video.
yeah, the entire thing just ruins a psp's main functionality (being able to play psp games) to turn into a raspberry pi powered emulation thing, but even THAT feels weird because like... I emulated snes and genesis games on the psp, you could convert psx iso to run on it, so the only thing this really does is add kinda janky n64 support while losing psp support
same guy who featured a dreamcast "replacement case" that aggressively removes any and all charm from the machine itself, makes it look like a 2010 mac mini, and costs like 300 dollars, im assuming
sure fuckin' is, but there's actually like at least TWO dudes who do shit like that so I was confused for a second
