I recently (and finally) was able to secure a new healthcare provider through a nurse practitioner and HOPEFULLY in combination with my prior disability documentation and medical records, I'll be able to get on disability again

Of course, there's a problem. There's always a problem. In this case, the problem is that transferring my medical records from my old doctor to the nurse practitioner costs $150. This is not covered by welfare and I basically have no way to pay this. Free healthcare, eh?

I really need help with this. I'm sorry to ask, but I really do

I don't know anything about your situation but is it possible to just Request your medical records for yourself and then give them to the new provider ? Do you have a right to your medical records ?
