okay, I think I have movement locked in for how this game works now. locking on gives you the same sorta deal as in Zero Gunner 2 where you'll rotate towards the reticle as you move, but now you can dash towards the reticle if your energy is full. the reticle also shows you if you have a dash ready and how fast it's charging
if you're holding the lock-on button, the default charge is a lot slower. the final version will have the passive charging both locking on and flying normally. to make it so dashing is actually a meaningful part of the gameplay, dealing damage to enemies will recharge it faster, including if you dash through them
