I mentioned this elsewhere the other day, but the moment I knew it was fucking over as far as Mass Effect 3 being an RPG of any sort was concerned, more than it being a sequel to Mass Effect 2, was when I got to Mars and suddenly realized "oh, I'm just literally never allowed to manually holster my weapon, huh"
