my main reason for thinking about Wizards (1977) is that the crpg I'm poking at as an idea started out with me wanting it to be tonally kinda like Indiana Jones but really feels more like it's a midpoint between Ghostbusters and Wizards instead which is an odd thing to say but like it's hard to explain tone sometimes

"this is a new era for unity! everything's going to change now!"

fucking HOW. how do you believe this AT ALL. do you think that the billions of packages that are completely fucking incomplete and in some cases haven't seen updates in years aside from basic maintenance will just stop having those problems? do you think that the packages that are getting released now aren't going to fall into that state even though they've laid off like half the company over the past two years? do you think that the SRPs are going to stop having so many issues despite their teams being gutted?

what do you think is going to actually fucking change aside from "unity absorbs fewer companies"

I swear to god these people are the biggest fucking rubes on the planet
