One thing I like about John Foxx is the fact he's been almost entirely quiet about his personal life, political beliefs and the like. Which makes it all the more intriguing that he has made two tracks that are very, for the lack of a better word, trans-coded.
Exhibit A is the song My Sex from Ultravox's self-titeled album:
Exhibit B is the song When I Was a Man and You Were a Woman from his second solo outing The Garden:
And, for the record, I don't want to know details about Foxx's life either. This way I can enjoy his music and not be put off it be political views (which is what happened with Mike Oldfield).
