Back when I first got a smartphone around 2014 the Google Play Store had a section for inputing gift card codes, and for some reason it didn't tell you to stop trying after inputting a wrong one so I spent around 15 minutes bruteforcing a valid code. I noticed a pattern in the Google Play card codes, they were always 16 digits, spaced out like this: 1 number 3 letters, 2 numbers 2 letters.
I got lucky and bruteforced a gift card code that was around 50 USD. which I still have around 80 cents leftover because pretty much all apps cost less than 8 dollars.
To this day if something randomly goes wrong with a computer or online banking I'd like to imagine I'm karmically paying "stealing" that 50 dollar gift card, one cent at a time.
