there's a bush on my street that always has bees in it. i call it the bee bush and i cross the street to avoid it lol

They must have lots of pollen or nectar, typically bees wont bother with flowers if they are too sparse because they like to fill up with nectar/pollen from one type of flower at a time, so if theres tons of bees there, it must be a rich resource~

Bees are very smart and efficient, and extremely methodical, it also could be that they nested in that bush :3
simultaneously cute and scary lol (i'm allergic, not terribly so though but enough to be afraid of them hehe)
If they really are bees they wont harm you, they are very gentle :)
They are very aware that stinging should be a total last resort move, and may come to look at you if you wear lots of bright colors~
