these days i'm grateful that i feel a little bit more able to maintain an attitude that i'm making music primarily for its own sake, rather than evaluating a track based on interactions or on comparisons to other people's music
it's tricky, and i'm not always the best at it, but progress is progress, and holding onto this attitude helps me feel less perfectionistically anxious during the process
plus i'm learning practical audio engineering skills and training my ear!
