whoa, just realized it's coming up on 3 years since i started making electronic music on what basically amounted to a whim. i had no idea how much it would grip me. it had been ages since i'd developed a new special interest, and idk if i've ever gotten quite so deeply into any of them
it's wild how much more i enjoy music when i'm making original stuff versus playing sheet music (and doing it in the context of right-way-and-wrong-way school bands). i wish my earlier music education hadn't squeezed the fun out of it for me for so long, but i'm glad i (re)started later rather than never, too!
