i'm trying some new mixing tricks with this song, and while i think they may require some fine-tuning, they're creating an interesting sense of fullness that's preserving more clarity than i expected
like apparently you can make a piano sound like it's stretched halfway across the stereo image by panning it to, say, 10 o'clock, then adding chorusing or a short delay or something and panning that to 2 o'clock. then your brain fills in the gap and perceives it as a super full, wide piano sound
