i miss berlin and feel sad that i didn't know i was queer yet when i was there
i just reeaally wanna visit germany again in general. despite my academic background in german lit i've really only ever seen berlin, munich and dresden
it'd be so much fun to see the rhine, and i wanna hike in the alps again. oh, and let's not forget going to kloster andechs and eating a super good pretzel in the middle of the woods :9
oh, and it'd be nice to visit vienna again too, the trams were so charming there, i wonder if they still use the historic ones these days. plus you gotta have a piece of sachertorte
also ykw, as long as we're using our imagination, i'd like to go on cool trains in switzerland. maybe i could even pick up a bit of swiss german (it's pretty challenging for speakers of standard german to understand)
ya idk, the german-speaking countries are so pretty, heinrich von kleist wrote some buck wild novellas (especially michael kohlhaas), and the language is just so mentally stimmy and satisfying to me
